Annual Award Ceremonyat the Qalamdan Islamic & Academic Education Center
The Annual Award Ceremony took place in March 2018. The students who passed their exams with high marks were rewarded to encourage all the students to study hard.

Qalamdan Clothing Bank:Alhamdulillah, Clothes and Shoes were collected by Qalamdan Volunteers, which were then distributed to the poor at the Qalamdan Islamic & Academic Education Center
September 2017:
Alhamdulillah, Pir Syed Abbas Ali Shah Sahib Bukhari along with the Qalamdan Team have made fantastic progress in making the Qalamdan Foundation project a success. Below is a summary of some of the highlights:
- Throughout the year the Education project at the 'Qalamdan Islamic and Academic Education Center' has continued to provide
good quality Edcuation to the Students.
- Qalamdan Clothing Bank is a new project set up to start collecting clothes for the poor.
- Ijtima Qurbani was done at Eid Ul Adha and food was then distributed to the poor.
- The Qalamdan Sewing Center is now open and has started teaching the students
October/November 2016:
Three announcements:
1. Marriage Hall for the poor free of charge.
2. Sewing classes to train and provide useful skills to the students
3. CCTV Cameras
Alhamdulillah, Pir Syed Abbas Ali Shah Sahib Bukhari has announced that the second floor of the new
Qalamdan Islamic & Academic Education Centre will be used as a MARRIAGE HALL, free of charge for the local poor people,
who cannot afford the simple requirement that many of us can.
This will allow the local people to provide a suitable environment for the ceremony, as they do not have the
facilities or space to do this else where. The work is well under way for the interior building work for the second floor.(Pics are shown below)
Secondly, it has been annouced the sewing classes will start at the centre to train and provide the required skills to teach
the children on how to sew clothes. A skill that will Inshallah become very useful for themselves as well as their families.
Thirdly, CCTV Cameras have been installed at the Qalamdan Islamic & Academic Education Centre. An asset which was required at the centre to improve security.
